Adam Smith Promoted to Partner

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Adam Smith to Partner at Standley Law Group LLP. Adam began his legal career by joining the firm in 2013 as a law clerk and moving to an associate role in 2015 upon graduating from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

Adam is licensed to practice law in Ohio and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Adam is a member of the Ohio State Bar association, where he is active with the Intellectual Property Section.

Adam focuses his practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications domestically and around the world, including opinion work, prior art searches, licensing agreements and other transactional work. Adam is also experienced with administrative challenges before the USPTO and intellectual property litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Adam received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Miami University and spent time working as a mechanical engineer.
