Ken Pung received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Juris Doctor from the University of Akron.  Ken is a registered patent attorney and is licensed to practice law in Ohio and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  He is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.

In undergrad, Ken focused his studies on polymer science and engaged in the research of polymeric materials. In particular, Ken researched methods of synthesizing polymer nanoassemblies and grafting said polymer nanoassemblies onto different forms of rubber.  Later, this experience served him well when he worked as an extern at Glenn Research Center, a field office for NASA, where he assisted in the preparation and prosecution of patents related to polymer aerogels. In law school, Ken was an active member of Akron Law’s Trademark Clinic and served as an officer in Akron Law’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law Association.

Ken has experience preparing and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications involving the chemical and mechanical arts.  He also has experience performing prior art searches, prosecuting trademark applications, and drafting transactional documents related to intellectual property matters.
